Laser welding has been booming in the past two years, and many welding pipe companies have switched their production lines to laser welding. So how should we view the application of laser welding in the field of welded pipe production lines?
Firstly, we must acknowledge the positive application of laser welding in the field of welded pipe production lines, which has confirmed a certain improvement effect on the welded pipe industry. At least it has played a role in improving the production efficiency of welded pipes. Why do we say that? Because the speed of welded pipes depends on multiple factors, not just one welding speed can determine everything. As welded pipes, our ultimate goal is to improve the speed of welding while ensuring the quality of welding pipes. These two can be achieved within a certain range, and there will be an optimal point, which is the same as the amount of learning in middle school. There is an optimal combination point, but there are many factors to consider in the field of welded pipes.
As a participant, I would like to share my personal experience. The customer has purchased a laser welding pipe machine from us for the renovation of traditional welded pipe production lines, and both the speed and quality have met the customer's acceptance standards. But during the debugging process, we also tested the speed of the welded pipe, which can indeed be achieved very fast. However, if the equipment runs stably and cannot keep up, it is not possible. In addition, after exceeding a certain speed, the welding quality is not ideal. In fact, it is easy for everyone to understand what is going on.
Any welded pipe production line has a certain degree of stability, but more importantly, the material of the welded pipe. Different materials have inherent characteristics for the stability and speed of welding, which cannot be determined by what welding machine you use. Under certain temperature conditions, producing at a certain welded pipe speed is the best state, and some pipes have higher requirements.
So the application of laser welding in the field of welded pipe production lines still has a certain path to go and needs to be continuously explored.
