Welded pipe mould is an essential hardware accessory for the production of straight seam welded pipe. Through the hole design of the welded pipe mould, different shapes of welded pipe materials can be produced. The welded pipe mold mainly uses the change of the hole pattern, so that the steel strip gradually travels and deforms in the welded pipe mould hole pattern, and finally makes the corresponding shape of the pipe. In addition to deformation, there is a part of the welded pipe mould that is critical. This is the mold at the welding port location. We usually call it the welding mouth mold.

The welding mouth mold of the welded pipe mould has two functions, one is to compress and align the two ends of the strip, and the other is to provide the welding gun with a favorable reference welding position. We usually see that the upper side of the welded pipe mould is a symmetrical slope design. The design of this slope must pay attention. If the design is not good, it will have a significant impact on the welding. If the angle of this position is too large, the welding gun is not easy to approach. If the angle is too large, the thickness is too thin, and it is easy to be welded through. Because we are not good at assessing the technology of customer engineers, we found that many of the welding molds were burned out and had gaps when we maintained the customer's welded pipe moulds.
